- Gender Etc. is available to carry out research and consultancy on all aspects of gender and disaster risk reduction.
- We are happy to collaborate as part of research proposals but can also provide advice for others.
- We can design and deliver training (e.g we have designed and delivered trainings on gender mainstreaming into disaster risk reduction for the UN).
- We can carry out gender analyses for organizations (government departments, UN entities, NGOs, etc).
- We can prepare bibliographies (annotated or not) on specific aspects of gender and DRR (see the Gender and Disaster Network Reference Guides https://www.gdnonline.org/resources with which we are associated).
- We can advise on the ethical and methodologically sound collection of disaggregated data (gender, age, and other key social categories) at any level (national, regional, local).
- We can collaborate on developing bespoke gender analysis tools (see the Gender Marker Toolkit designed for UN Women and the Bangladesh National Resilience Programme).
